Women's Wheelchair Basketball B European Championship 

The Women's B Division European Championship represents far more than a competition for promotion. It aims to inspire girls and women in Swiss wheelchair basketball, create new opportunities, and support the continued growth of the women's game.

The first-ever Women's B Division European Championship in Nottwil features the national teams of Ireland, Israel and Türkiye, alongside the mixed team Women of Europe, which includes five Swiss players, one Austrian, one Swedish, one Portuguese and one Finnish athlete.

Under the motto "writing HERstory.", the organising committee led by President Selina Hilber is committed to increasing the visibility of women's wheelchair basketball in Switzerland, actively advancing women's participation in sport, and creating role models for the next generation. Making history on and off the court is not only encouraged, it is the mission.
